Howdy Ropers!
I'm thrilled to be starting my 17th year in education, and my 9th year at the Ranch! Over the years, I’ve had the joy of teaching kindergarten, 3rd, and 4th grades, as well as serving as a curriculum and instruction coach. I’m excited to bring that experience into a winning year in 4th grade!
Outside the classroom, I stay busy doing what I love- coaching cheerleading, live music, thrifting for hidden gems, getting lost in a good book, doing makeovers. and spending quality time with my favorite people. My husband of almost 17 years, Scott, and I are blessed with three loves of our lives: Marlee (12), Tripp (9), and Ella (5). Most importantly, I love cheering on my kids... watching Marlee cheer at SVMS, rooting from the sidelines at Tripp’s football and baseball games, and watching Ella be the biggest little sister cheerleader of them all!
I believe life is too short to be anything less than extra, and I’m looking forward to giving every Roper an EXTRA special year filled with learning!! This year’s sports theme will bring energy, teamwork, and FUN as we work together to become stronger readers and writers. Let’s make it a year to remember!
