Dearest Johnson Ranch Elementary Community,

 

My name is Mrs. Catherine Leach, and I am honored and excited to serve you all as the proud principal of Johnson Ranch Elementary — the very school where my three wonderful children attend and in the very neighborhood, I proudly reside! As a devoted wife, loving mommy to our three cuties and an involved, committed member of my amazing family, I truly understand the importance of a nurturing, supportive school community that ensures success for all. 

 

I have proudly been in education for twenty-three years. My connection to Comal ISD extends back to my student teaching days where I had the privilege to be placed at Comal Elementary. I have taught all grades from pre-kindergarten to fifth grade except for third grade. My mom taught third grade for many years, so I feel between us, we had it covered! I was an Assistant Principal for six years and am starting my eighth year as a Principal. I LOVE my job! 

 

As I begin my twenty-fifth year in education and eighth year as a Principal, I look forward to continuing the culture of excellence that is Johnson Ranch Elementary. We will continue to strive to be a highly rated campus known for its stellar students, superstar staff, and positively supportive parents.

 

I can't wait to reconnect and/or meet you this year. Let’s make it a year filled with learning, laughter, and lasting memories. And remember to Saddle Up Ropers, Together We WIN!
